Three found dead in suicide pact

Three men have been found dead in a car in an apparent suicide by inhaling lethal gas made from detergent.

Tominori Hirata, a police spokesman in Tomioka, north of Tokyo, said the three - all in their 20s and 30s - were found by a passer-by early on Monday. The car was found in a car park.

The deaths were the latest in a series of detergent suicides using mixed chemicals to generate deadly gas.
