Terror suspect 'happy' over 9/11

Terror suspect Omar Khyam told the Old Bailey today that he had been "happy" when he first heard about the September 11 attacks in America.

He told the court that the US was "the greatest enemy of Islam", but that he had had mixed feelings about the number of people killed.

Khyam was arrested after a fertiliser explosive was found in a west London storage depot. The prosecution alleges he was a member of a British cell linked to al-Qaeda that discussed bombing a nightclub and a shopping centre.
