Stolen tank on Sydney rampage

A man has been on the rampage in a stolen tank through the suburbs of Sydney.
The 45-year-old detroyed six mobile phone towers as he drove through six subrbs in the west of the city.
Suburban Mt Druitt police Chief Inspector Guy Haberley said the man was arrested on his way to damaging a seventh tower.
He said: "He continued to destroy mobile tower communications sheds by crashing through the perimeter fence and colliding with structures, causing significant damage."
The 90-minute destruction came to an end when the tank stalled and police pounced.
The man has been charged with predatory driving, possession of a prohibited drug, use of a weapon to avoid apprehension, and driving in a dangerous manner.
