Updated on 04 September 2008
The Iraqi government is planning to open a museum inside the notorious Abu Ghraib prison to document crimes committed there during Saddam Hussein's regime.
Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement that the museum's exhibits will include torture chambers and execution materials.
He says the museum is part of an effort to rehabilitate the prison, located west of Baghdad.
