Pakistan military reclaims territory

The army claims to have retaken a territory overrun by the Taliban.

The army said Mingora, the largest town in the Swat valley, was back under government control.

Hundreds of people have died in the Swat valley since the operation against the Taliban was launched this month. The Taliban retaliated by killing 24 people in bomb attacks in Lahore.
