Obama leads in key election states
Updated on 02 October 2008
Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has pulled ahead in key swing states, a new poll revealed.
His support jumped to 50% or above in must-win Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania.
In a separate poll by the Associated Press and GfK, Mr Obama surged to a seven-point lead, 48-41%, nationally - a dramatic shift from the poll that gave rival John McCain a slight edge nearly three weeks ago.
