Top Doctors attack alternative therapies as bogus saying NHS money should be spent on scientifically proven medicines.

Some of Britain's leading doctors have launched a blistering attack on homeopathic treatment. They say NHS trusts should stop using complementary therapies and pay only for medicine "based on solid evidence".

One doctor said the NHS was funding "bogus" therapies when patients struggled to get drugs like Herceptin.

Their comments came as Prince Charles was preparing to make a speech in Geneva calling for the use of alternative medicine in the fight against serious disease. Darshna Soni reports.
