Welcome to News from Iran on a night when Britain warned Iran could resort to terrorism as the nuclear dispute worsens.

This ancient city of Isfahan now has a claim to fame beyond its minarets and bazaar. Just a few miles from here is the Isfahan uranium conversion plant where IAEA inspectors have found 85 metric tonnes of uranium UF6 gas.

The American ambassador to the IAEA says the discovery makes it clear Iran's nuclear programme is far from innocent.

On our journey down here from Qom, we also passed Natanz. Iran's nuclear enrichment plant. We weren't allowed to film it as we drove by. It's surrounded by anti-aircraft guns and lies buried deep beneath a mountain.

Reaction to Iran's nuclear activities intensified today. A Foreign Office official warned there was a risk of Iranian-sponsored terror attacks in Britain.

But Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said there was no turning back on Tehran's nuclear ambitions. Our international editor Lindsey Hilsum joins us live from Tehran.
