Iran demands changes but opens door to US

President Ahmadinejad demands a fundamental change in US policy, but is ready for talks with the new administration.

After decades of enmity Iran is starting to open the door to the United States and the Obama administration.

Meanwhile, crowds chanted anti-American slogans at a massive rally marking the 30th anniversary of Iran's Islamic revolution.

The two countries cut all diplomatic ties after the Shah was overthrown and dozens of diplomats were held hostage for more than a year at the US embassy in Tehran.
