Major General's BlackBerry stolen

Army security experts have had to scramble to block an officer's mobile phone after it was stolen while he was on leave in China.

The officer raised the alert as soon as he realised the BlackBerry device was missing after being targeted by pickpockets during a train ride, the Sun reported.

The newspaper named the man who was was targeted by thieves as Major General Gerry Berragan.
