Kenya politicians killed in plane crash

Two senior Kenyan politicians have been killed in a plane crash.

Roads Minister Kipkalya Kones and Assistant Minister for Home Affairs Lorna Laboso were passenegrs on a light aircraft with the pilot and a security guard which came down near the Masai Mara game reserve.

A spokesman for their Orange Democratic Movement would only confirm the pair were on the plane when it crashed.

Narok District police spokesman Patrick Wambani said all four people in the plane died.

"The plane came down on an unoccupied house and disintegrated, killing all four occupants," said Mr Wambani.
