Jordan's Queen Rania and Princess Haya are among the latest "climate allies" who have signed up to an international campaign calling for a fair, effective and ambitious deal to tackle global warming to be agreed in Copenhagen in December.

The royals are supporting former UN chief Kofi Annan's Tck Tck Tck - Time for Climate Justice campaign, joining more than 80 celebrities and high profile Climate Allies including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Lily Allen, Sir Bob Geldof and actor Pete Postlethwaite.

The queen, known for her work on education and women and children's rights, warned of the human impact of climate change.
