The family of a British man who went missing during a holiday to Costa Rica is appealing for help to trace him.

Michael Dixon, 33, checked into the Villas Macondo hotel in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, at 3pm on October 18.

The last confirmed sighting of him was at 4.30pm the same day when staff saw him leave the hotel, his brother David Dixon said.
