Facelift for Lindsay murder suspect
Updated on 06 November 2009
Images of the facelifted fugitive who allegedly killed Briton Lindsay Hawker have been released by Japanese police.
Tatsuya Ichihashi, who has been on the run for almost three years since Miss Hawker's naked and battered body was found in a bathtub full of sand at his flat in Tokyo, had plastic surgery to help him vanish, officers believe.
The suspect, now 30, is thought to have invested in cheek implants and lip-thinning treatments in an operation a fortnight ago.
