The world's largest cruise liner has set sail for its new home in Miami from the Finnish shipyard where it was built.

The 'Oasis of the Seas' is 40-per cent larger than any previous cruise liner with 16-passenger decks and 2700 cabins.

The $1.5bn ship features an open air park - inspired by New York's Central Park - which is surrounded by loft-style "apartments."

It also boasts a 21-swimming pools, a 750-seat outdoor theatre, and a working carousel.
