A film-maker killed by Israeli forces has been awarded three Emmy's for his documentary that he was filming.

James Miller's "Death in Gaza" won the direction, cinematography and non-fiction film-making awards at last night's ceremony in Los Angeles.

34-year-old Miller was shot dead by an Israeli soldier at the Rafah refugee camp two years ago, despite carrying a white flag and calling out to troops that he was among a group of British journalists.

The man who killed him was cleared of charges by military chiefs.
