Eight die in Pakistan bomb attack

A suicide bomber has struck a goat market in north-west Pakistan, killing eight people in an attack apparently aimed at a local mayor.
The attack took place on Sunday morning in the Adazi area, about 10 miles south of the main north-west city of Peshawar.
The mayor, Abdul Malik, survived the attack but was wounded, police official Naseem Khan said.
