The 25-year-old singer told Emily Reuben he would stay away from drugs.

He said: "The fact that they have given me the chance is enough I think...you know...there's a lot more to be getting on with.

"It's not going to be instant and easy but I'm getting an anti-heroin implant." The singer refused to say whether he had spoken to Kate Moss since she arrived back in Britain to answer police questions over allegations that she snorted cocaine.

He added: "It's a bit rude (to ask about it). It's hard enough talking to my friends about it.

"It's people's lives, not a story. I met someone, I fell in love with them. We've had our ups and downs."
