A publican in the Ukranian resort of Truskavets has built a giant coffin-shaped bar in the hope that customers make it the last bar they'll ever visit.

Suitably named Eternity, it is probably the world's largest coffin.

But undertaker Stepan Pyrnyak is hoping to make it official and get into the Guiness Book of Records for building the joint - which is 20 metres long, six metres wide and six metres high.

With waitresses wearing black clothes, candles and wreaths aplenty and funeral dirges providing the soundtrack, customers have the ultimate morbid pub.

The bar has polarised opinion in the area - some residents enjoy being able to say 'I'll meet you in the coffin', but others think it's just a bit too miserable.
