Clinton backs NY congestion charge

Mayor Michael Bloomberg's plan to charge New York motorists to drive into the most congested parts of Manhattan has received a powerful boost from former US president Bill Clinton.
"The longer I wait in traffic, the better I like it," Clinton said.
Clinton was asked about the hotly-debated London-style congestion charge proposal at a news conference at which he appeared with Bloomberg.
