A restaurant in Taiwan has welcomed in the Chinese New Year with a menu full of rat dishes.
The Ho-la Diner in the island's Chiayi district has created ten rodent specials to mark the Year of the Rat.
Diners say the meat is tender and better than chicken.
They can even choose their own rat from the selection of headless carcasses hanging in the restaurant's window.
Proprietor Lin Ming-Chih says the new menu harks back to Taiwan's past, when pregnant women traditionally ate farm rats.
The seasonal menu features rat soup and deep-fried vermin - but no ratatouille.
