Brown visits Olympic stadium

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has became the first VIP visitor to see inside Beijing's "bird's nest" Olympic stadium.

And after his sneak preview he declared: "This is going to be one of the greatest Olympic games ever."

Standing alongside Britain's double gold medalist Kelly Holmes, the Prime Minister went on: "I'm thrilled that British design has been involved in this. I thought it was magnificent and it is going to be great for the athletes, its going to be great for the public.
