It was a 10-foot-high wave that destroyed everything in its path - perhaps the defining image of the havoc wrought by the tsunami as it swept through Indonesia's Banda Aceh province on Boxing day last year.

The cameraman who filmed them had been taking pictures at a wedding - suddenly thrust into the spotlight, Hashim won international acclaim as his extraordinary footage was screened around the world.

Channel 4 News were the first team outside Indonesia to interview Hashim about the dramatic events of that day.

One year on, Inigo Gilmore has been back to Banda Aceh, to find out how much his life has changed.
