UN reveals North Korea shortages

A third of women and children are going hungry in North Korea, according to an independent report which says hundreds of thousands are suffering from malnutrition.

The secretive state allows little access to the outside world, but relies on foreign aid to fill the gap in its dwindling harvest.
Channel 4 News has rare footage showing the harsh realities of life in rural areas of North Korea.
