Although the fighting ended half a century ago, North and South Korea still haven't signed a peace treaty.

But that could change. During historic talks in Pyongyang, the leaders of both countries have signed a joint declaration calling for a permanent settlement - although they'll need China and the US on board.

They also agreed to resume rail freight services - and there will be further reunions of families divided by the partition of the country.
