From the science labs of the Pentagon plans for a bomb to turn enemy soldiers gay.
A bomb to turn enemy combatants into sex-crazed homosexuals. That sounds like a story which combines absurdity with homophobia - and what's most bizarre of all, it's actually true.
The Pentagon have confirmed that they did indeed support the design of such a weapon in the early 90s.
