Gold and Bronze medals in New York

Channel 4 News takes Gold and Bronze medals in New York Tuesday, February 6th 2007
Channel 4 News and More4 News picked up two awards at the prestigious New York Festivals on Friday evening.
Channel 4 News' foreign team won the Gold Medal for News' Coverage of an On-Going Story' for reports from Afghanistan.
More4 News took the Bronze Medal for 'Investigative Reports' for its coverage of Darfur.
The Judges also commended Channel 4's reportage on the Pakistan earthquake (in 'On-Going Story' category), and on heroin smuggling ('Investigative Report').
