A song for Hillary

So, a note pops into your inbox from Hillary Clinton. It's her campaign insisting 'we need your help'.
It seems the Senator has been struggling with a decision for some time. But this is no intractable political dilemma - it's a a Eurovision song contest redux for the 2008 campaign.
In yet another bid for those elusive young voters - Hillary's team are trying to engage the public in choosing their theme tune. There's a handy shortlist to pick from, ranging from Jesus Jones' 'Right Here, Right Now', KT Tunstall's 'Suddenly I See' to the Dixie Chicks 'Ready to Run'.
There's also a rather tempting opportunity to add a 'write-in' suggestion of your own - well, you can imagine what some of Hillary's detractors have been offering there.
Senator Clinton herself uses the chance for a little self-deprecation - spoofing a clip of her mangled rendition of the Star Spangled Banner which did the rounds on YouTube - she promises she won't sing in public again - unless she wins.
Presumably the artists themselves are happy for their songs to be used for political purposes - will they get any royalties? And who's making sure the vote counting is fair? We wouldn't want to see any undue influence back there.
