What do you remember from 1982? The Falklands War? Three million people unemployed? Michael Jackson's Thriller? Rubik's cubes? Or perhaps, the launch of Channel 4?
We want your war stories
Do you have a story to tell from the Falklands conflict? Perhaps you or a close relative were in the forces, or maybe you were at the Portsmouth quayside as the ships set sail for the south Atlantic. Do you have pictures from the time?

This November, Channel 4, and Channel 4 News, will be 25 years old and to celebrate the anniversary, we're running a special project to look back at how we have covered the big stories.
Were you there when Argentina invaded the Falklands? Or perhaps you saw the aircraft carriers depart from Portsmouth? Either way, we'd like to hear about your experiences.
The contrast between the way we heard about the Falklands could hardly be more different from coverage of today's wars.
Back then, all we had were radio reports over a sparse number of pictures and any news from the islands themselves had to pass through a filter of military censorship.
We want to tap into your experiences and hear what you have to say about the events of 1982.
But it is not just the Falklands. We also want to hear from you about your thoughts on the big events of the last 25 years.
Where were you when Princess Diana had died? Do you remember the landslide election of 1987? Or 1997? What about the Challenger shuttle disaster, or Chernobyl, or 9-11? Were you part of Live Aid, the Summer of Love, or Acid House?
