He is Britain's first world heavyweight boxing champion for six years. David Haye is celebrating his own David and Goliath story after defeating a seven-foot Russian to seize the title.

"Nothing scares me now," the new WBA heavyweight champion David Haye declared after defeating a man almost a foot taller and seven stone heavier. Haye will have to defend his championship in the spring.

As for the future, his trainer says he is talking to Wembley stadium about what is being billed as one of the biggest fights in British boxing history - to become the undisputed champion of the world.
