Victorious Pompey parade cup

Portsmouth's players are to take part in a victory parade after lifting the FA Cup for the first time in nearly 70 years and ending the trophy dreams of Cardiff City.

A solitary 37th-minute goal from Pompey striker Kanu was enough to send the Championship side back to Wales empty-handed.

There had been fears of fan violence following the ugly scenes at the Uefa Cup final in Manchester on Wednesday night.
