Unions meet Brown for recession talks
Updated on 11 September 2009
Union leaders meet Gordon Brown for the first time since he became prime minister in 2007 to discuss pulling Britain out of the recession.

The TUC leader Brendan Barber and Unite General Secretary Tony Woodley are among 15 union bosses attending the talks.
With fears that thousands of public sector jobs are at risk, the discussions will focus heavily on how Britain can pull itself out of recession.
