A group of train drivers in Bedford have bared all for a charity calendar.

Taking inspiration from the Women's Institute, the 12 men and one woman stripped off for Drivers in the buff 2008, to raise money for a child in Ghana.

Mr February's Kevin Braybrook admitted: "I was a bit nervous at first, because obviously there were trains running past us when we were down the sidings.

"Because it was for a great cause, we bit the bullet and we got on with it, and we loved every minute of it."

He added: "It's not a case of vanity on our part. It's a case of us doing it for charity, helping a little boy Joseph for a prosthetic leg, and also the Railway Children Fund, which is to help children out in the world that live rough on streets and railway stations, sidings and places like that."

But the general public haven't seemed too keen on the results, with one passenger saying "it's a bit too close for comfort".
