Tories seek more school expulsions

Thousands of children are being suspended from schools for offences that could warrant expulsion, the Tories have said.
There were more than 200,000 suspensions from state schools in England last year for offences such as sexual abuse, assault, and actual or threatened violence.
This is the equivalent of 1,000 children being suspended each day, the Tories said.
