North West Ambulance service are called to Derrick Bird's home.

WHITEHAVEN
Shots fired at Duke Street. One person is killed.
EGREMOUNT
Bird drives south. Eyewitnesses say woman in her sixties is shot.
Eyewitnesses say a man is shot on Egremount Bridge.

GOSFORTH
Eyewitnesses say a farmer is shot dead at Low Boonwood Farm, Gosforth Hill.

Eyewitness say an elderly woman is shot in Drigg Road.

Police confirm "a number of people" have been injured in a series of shootings.

Derrick Bird, 52, from Rowrah, near Frizington named as a suspect. A photograph is issued of him.
