Three teenagers died when the car they were travelling in hit a wall.

South Yorkshire Police said the crash happened at about 12.30am on Thursday on the A635 Doncaster Road, Darfield, Barnsley, outside the entrance to Tyers Hall Farm.

A spokeswoman said the 19-year-old male driver of the blue Peugeot, a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl, were all pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
