They had been under surveillance more than a year before they allegedly planned to detonate homemade bombs across London.

Today a jury has been shown photographs of five of the six men accused of the plot on a camping trip in the Lake District.

The court was told they were seen carrying out "organised running activity" and carrying rucksacks.

It also emerged police then came across one of the alleged plotters twice more before 21 July 2005.
