Skater Jon video on YouTube

Updated on 19 June 2007

By Channel 4 News

A video of Jon Snow skateboarding on his way to an awards ceremony has appeared on YouTube.

The video, which was shot for the One World Broadcasting Trust of which Jon is a patron, was filmed prior to this year's annual media awards for the Trust.

In the video Jon is shown running late after presenting Channel 4 News. In his rush to get to the ceremony he is forced to commandeer a passer by's skateboard and displays remarkable skating prowess.

The video spoof is an annual gag to highlight Jon's traditional rush from the studios at ITN to the awards ceremony. Last year's film involved a helicopter.

The film was directed by Peter J Walsh, produced by Paulina Tervo (writethisdown.co.uk) and has music from pollinationx.com for the One World Broadcasting Trust.
