Channel 4 News journalists Darshna Sohni and Ginny Sandrigham travelled up to Leeds to film a reconstruction of the route taken by the bombers down to Luton and then on to London.

The third shop they visited proved to be the actual store where the bombers had purchased their rucksacks - Blacks in Thornton Arcade, in the heart of the city.

A shop assistant told Channel 4 News: "They bought them here" after being shown a picture of the bombers and being asked if they could supply a similar bag.

He later said to the manager: "They want to do a reconstruction about those bags we sold those bombers."

It is unclear whether the men all came in together or separately and how they paid for the rucksacks.

The manager would not divulge nay further details other than to say: "We don't stock those bags anymore."

West Yorkshire Police declined to comment.
