Roddick too strong for Murray
Updated on 03 July 2009
Andy Roddick crushes Andy Murray's hopes of becoming the first Briton to make the Wimbledon men's final since 1938.
In a nail-biting semifinal on the Centre Court, the British number one lost to his more powerful American opponent in four sets.
Roddick will now play Roger Federer, who beat Tommy Haas in straight sets, in Sunday's final. Joining Jon Snow from Bradford was the sports minister, Gerry Sutcliffe, and the former British number one, Jeremy Bates.
