Sued for accusing chiropractors of using "bogus treatments", Dr Simon Singh is returning fire with a libel action of his own.

A respected scientist and author is being sued for libel after writing an article which accused chiropractors of using "bogus treatments". Dr Simon Singh dismissed claims that the practice can cure childhood illnesses such as asthma, colic and sleeping problems. But now he's challenging the libel action in the court of appeal, claiming English law stifles the principles of scientific debate.
