Optimism about economy at new high

Optimism about the economy is at its highest for 18 months, a poll shows.
A third of more than 1,500 adults surveyed think the country as a whole will do well over the next year, the highest proportion since April 2008.
But nearly two thirds still think that the country will do badly over the next year.
