Mental patients 'struggle at work'

Updated on 04 November 2009

Source PA News

Most people suffering from mental health problems continue to work even though their condition affects their performance, according to a new study.

More than one in four described their mental health as poor or moderate, with 90% admitting it hit their work, a survey of more than 2,000 employees found.

Virtually everyone with poor mental health continued to work, with only a third saying their employers offered them good support.
