Heathrow protests to be discussed

Updated on 26 July 2008

The possibility of "mass direct action" is due to be discussed at a conference called by those opposed to expansion at Heathrow Airport.

Held at Harlington, west London, the conference is being attended by green protesters from the Camp for Climate Action.

Local residents, trade unionists and MPs are also expected to attend, with the various groups planning their next step should the Government give the go-ahead later this year to expansion at Heathrow.
