Updated on 25 March 2009

By Jane Deith

Ground floor windows of Sir Fred Goodwin's Edinburgh home are smashed in an overnight attack, along with the windows of his Mercedes parked outside.

A group calling itself Bank Bosses are Criminals has said it was responsible for the attack on the home and car of the former chief executive of the Royal Bank of Scotland.

In a message on the Edinburgh News website the group warned there would be more action.
