Government warned on postal strike
Updated on 14 September 2009
Postal services are set to be hit by further walkouts amid calls for the Government to step in to break the deadlocked row over jobs and pay.

As members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) prepared to vote in a national ballot for strikes following months of local walkouts, the Direct Marketing Association said the Government should take action to help resolve the dispute.
