* Deliveries grind to a halt as the first Royal Mail strike in more than a decade begins.
* As the firebrigade says it's ill-equipped to deal with the floods - the Met warns more severe weather is on its way
* Another false lead for the McCanns - Spanish police say two people arrested have no connection with Madeleine's disappearance.
