Facebook security fears for MI6 Sawers

Personal details of the incoming head of the secret intelligence service Sir John Sawers, including photographs of his home and family, have been published on the internet.

The information was included on Sir John's wife's Facebook page, before the Mail on Sunday newspaper published it on the front cover.

It has now been removed from the website.

While the government denies security has been compromised, intelligence and computer security analysts say it is an astonishing breach.
