F1 boss Ecclestone praises Hitler

Dangerous, frightening, eccentric, just three of the printable reactions to comments by formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone praising Adolf Hitler's ability to get things done.

In an interview with the Times, Bernie Ecclestone also said that democracy has not benefited Britain and that his motor racing colleague Max Mosley would make a good prime minister.
But it was his comment that the dictator had to be persuaded to do things and might not have known what was going on in Nazi-occupied Europe which has drawn the most anger.
