James Hudson resigned as deputy consul general in Ekaterinburg after the video appeared on the internet.

The film, which lasts four minutes and 18 seconds, was posted on a Russian news website under the title "Adventures of Mr Hudson in Russia". The Foreign Office has confirmed Mr Hudson's resignation but did not comment on the whether it was him in the video.
